The SPARK Power Unit was engineered to be the most versatile all-in-one aircraft power unit available. To ensure compatibility across a wide range of aircraft, the SPU28b is offered with either a Right-Hand (RH) or Left-Hand (LH) aircraft interface.

Because aircraft GPU receptacles are not installed in a standardized orientation, the small relay pin on your aircraft’s external power connector may be located on either the left or right side when viewed directly.

Selection is simple:

Small pin on the right, choose the Right-Hand Interface (RH)
Small pin on the left, choose the Left-Hand Interface (LH)

Vertical GPU Receptacles

Some aircraft feature vertically mounted GPU docks. In these applications, either interface may be compatible. In this case, we recommend selecting the configuration that best suits how the operator would naturally approach and insert the SPU28b during normal operations.
